Aharavi.

Small Town with "Georgian" kind of title Aharavi we have discovered only in this 2000 year due to the car, but we were there some times this summer - when its were waves or windy on our, "western" coast, one of us set a problem on: "Where we shall go? ". As usual the Other answered: " In Aharavi". From Palekastritsa up to Aharavi only twenty minutes of driving, hardly half an hour, - through Doukades and Skipero you have to leave on a highway Kerkira - Sidari, then after transferring through a saddle-point, turn to the right to Roda, and, not reaching nearly up to Roda centre, turn to the right along shores on Aharavi. Indeed we went not inside Aharavi Town, but on an almost deserted beach in the 3-rd kilometers for the town, not reaching up a little to the lake - Reservation. All northern birches from Kalamaki up to Aharavi are almost continuous sandy beach. In Sidari, in Roda, inside Aharavi  there is a lot of people. If you would be desirable to have a rest so that on a distance 200 meters anybody was not, come to Aharavi. In June and in September, I think, it is possible to take about a  half-kilometer of a beach. Pure sand, slanting, but rather deep "shelf", good waves, light wind, cloudless sky - you will find here everything, that it is necessary  to conduct day together perfectly.
