From small village Gardelades near close Liapades downwards on the south almost on a quarter of yhe Island the valley Ropa lasts, bordered with east party by small hills, and from western party - by small mountains which are taking place along a shore the seas. Certainly, it is necessary to visit, and, better to put up at one of small villages on the western coast of the Island, in Hermones or, better, Pelekas.

Pelekas (with strike on the first syllable) is completely amazing городок. It is located on a mountain. The own small beach is landed downwards the mountain. It is possible to get it by the steep  and narrow, but asphalted road. There are highwaies to Pelekas: an old coastal road from Glifada and new road from a highway connecting Kerkira with Paleokastritsa on a valley Ropa.

At centre of Pelekas it is possible to contract on a road in place, which is named "Kaiser Throne". Is a mountain, from which the completely magic kinds in all four parties of light are opened. From here is seen all Island. On West - Ionic Sea, on the South - the valley Ropa, on The East - panorama of Kerkira and its neighboring settlments, on the South - the mountains of a southern part of the Island.
