There are a lot of good wines on Corfu Island, and its cost nothing on our notions
- a little cherish, than “Shweppes” in Moscow. This wines act particularly tenderly on
our livers, which gorbachev, ligachev, vasiek trubachev and his comrades had mocked at.

although red, although white, although rose costs 900-1200 drachmas (in super-market

Amstel with Baltics. All moscow beer - shit! Indeed Amstel appeared in Moscow this year).
In restaurants and òàâåðíàõ onnes take for same 450, but the most whirl 650
drachmas for the mug. In many bars you meet kindly custom to fill a beer in the
frozen mug for respect people - a cool beer from the frozen mug you can drink almost 20
minutes. Somehow I asked a frozen mug in the restaurant. They quickly freezed and brought
a fine colled glass, that, certainly, is absolutely inefficient.
Greeks nearly always give a cheque. Unless give, it is better not to take - signifies here
some small cheeting.
Something I went far off from the wine card. This my child, finally, got asleep, and
Apelia already is open, and my wife leaved us in Kerkira for shopping, but ahead of else
five weeks on this island. It is sufficient time for making of wine card! In general wine
card is quit simple. All costs 3-4 dollars for 1,5 litre. If you have money, for same 4
dollars it is possible for you to buy elit local wine, but only 0,7 litre. Very good white
wine with the conditional name “Tessalicos Topicos Oinos” is selling in flat green
bottles and it uses here popularity. The Prices on greenwine are very different - from
1200 drachmas for the bottle 0,7 litre in wine shops before 1800 - 2000 drachmas for same
bottle in the restaurant or tavern. Last bottle of greenwine we cheaply have bought before
departure in "Duty Free" airport. In that place we have bought a just the same
bottle of rubella - such wine in such bottle on such price, only mildly rose. Both were
drank in same day in Moscow with friends, who had met us in Sheremetievo airport.
All the rest - a liquors, vodkas, including and “Stolichny ” and “Abcolut” and
vermouths of type “Martini”, - all exist, only cheaper, than in Moscow.
Wines, which i did not cost to drink:
1) Retsina (in different variants) - unexceptional aromatizited table wine.
2) Paleokastritsa (in different variants) - an unexceptional type home wine.
3) Local wines - a local blame (not all, however). Dry local blame, wholly probably, are
made not from grape.
After we have moved in Paleokastritsa, the situation with the wine has changed. First, I
found present wine card of Corfu Island on the door of Maho's corner shop against
Akrotiri Beach Hotel. Secondly, one can find local blame in some supermarkets, in bottles
and in small casks, however only a little cheaper, than factory wine such aproximately
taste. Besides, at trips on villages all over steels we have met tables with expose on
sale home blame (home wine). Sometimes seller a blame changes an endurance and he has
